Summary
The Director of Admissions and Communications for St. Michael Academy is responsible for the recruitment, admissions, and retention of students at SMA. S/he is hired by, evaluated annually by, and reports to the Principal.
S/he will develop and maintain a Comprehensive Enrollment Management plan and Communications plan for SMA. These plans are reviewed annually by the Principal and the SMA Board.
The Director of Admissions and Communications will be responsible for:
Admissions
Maintaining a detailed and up-to-date database of information on prospective students and families
Creating and maintaining admissions files, sacramental records, inquiries from non-Catholic school families, and prospective transfer families
Developing relationships with key constituents and partners in the recruitment process including pastors, DREs, and school and parish secretaries, local daycare providers, parishes, churches, and community organizations
