Aid for Women

Founded in 1978 on the faith and teachings of the Catholic Church by a permanent deacon ordained for the Archdiocese of Chicago, Aid for Women empowers women to make choices consistent with the dignity of the human person and the family.  Our message of life-affirming alternatives to abortion serves an ethnically diverse population of women in the Chicago metropolitan area.  Each client is given unconditional compassion and the emotional, material and spiritual support she needs to choose life for her unborn baby.  Aid for Women operates five pregnancy help medical clinics and two maternity homes.
