Individuals and families come to us at different points along a continuum that ranges from being in crisis to thriving. Our philosophy is to address the most immediate needs first and then make the appropriate referrals to other programs (internal or external) to continue supporting people on their path toward opportunity and thriving.
As such, our programs fall into three main categories: Prevention & Stabilization, Family Strengthening, and Opportunity Building.
The mission of Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado, an organization with a long tradition of strengthening families and individuals, is to empower people to live whole and healthy lives to reach their fullest potential by providing them with pathways to build skills, knowledge, and opportunities.
