Saints Peter and Paul High School

SCHOOL DESCRIPTION

Saints Peter and Paul is the premier Catholic, parish, college preparatory high school on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Founded in 1955 by Saints Peter and Paul Parish and the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, New York, the school serves students from grades PreK through 12.

FACULTY AND STAFF

The high school has a faculty and staff of 23, 10 of whom hold Masters degrees or higher. The average teaching experience is 19 years and there is a student-teacher ratio of 8:1.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM

The course of study is exclusively college preparatory.  A tracking is used, consisting of four levels: Foundations, Academic, Honors and Advanced Placement. There are 96 courses offered as part of the curriculum including 19 Honors and 11 Advanced Placement courses. Opportunities for global learning courses are available to students.

CAMPUS MINISTRY & RETREATS

Under the leadership of a full-time Campus Minister, Saints Peter & Paul High School provides students of all denominations the opportunity for four years of retreat, spiritual direction, prayer/liturgy experiences, and service.
