Pennsylvania Field Director

  • CatholicVote
  • Pennsylvania, USA
Full time Nonprofit

Job Description

CatholicVote promotes and defends faith, family, and freedom by combining timeless principles with 21st-century outreach. We are building the largest Catholic voter mobilization project ever. We are seeking multiple paid, full-time field directors in Pennsylvania to help achieve our goal of turning out every faithful, Mass-going Catholic in Pennsylvania to vote this November.

Pennsylvania Field Directors will work closely with the National Field Director and Deputy National Field Director. Each Field Director will be responsible for recruiting and training grassroots volunteers and working with them to get out the Catholic vote. (S)he will work closely with volunteers and directly with Catholic voters to assist with voter registration, mail-in balloting, and more.

Ideal candidates will be energetic and willing to work with volunteers and voters; have a deep knowledge of the Catholic faith; and ready to work hard to get out the faithful Catholic vote in Pennsylvania. Prior political/campaign experience is strongly preferred, but any organizing experience will help, including in a church setting.

This is a remote, work-from-home, full-time position. Applicants can live anywhere in Pennsylvania, and strategic location in the state will be taken into account. Some travel is required. Travel will mostly take place within each Field Director's region, but a handful of out-of-state trips may be required.

Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Expenses will be reimbursed. This position will start as soon as possible and continue through November (including pay for the full month of November).

Catholic Vote Civic Action is inspired and organized by faithful Catholic laity.  For this reason, we do not claim to speak for any individual bishop or the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.  We represent the voices of millions of Catholics across America who seek to renew our country and our culture, in full communion with and 100% faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

  • Friendly demeanor; willing to pick up the phone and talk with volunteers and voters
  • Energetic and highly motivated
  • Flexible and understands that this is not a typical 9-to-5 job
  • Must own a car and be willing to drive within FL
  • Competent with PCs and smartphones (but does not need to be an expert!)
  • Understands the Catholic faith deeply, understands the politics of our day, and understands the importance of helping Catholics exercise their moral and civic duty to vote

Applicants can apply by emailing a short (½ - 1 page) cover letter and resumé to tvalentine [at] catholicvote [dot] org
