PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Copywriter expands OCP’s overall presence and interaction on non-OCP properties by providing and coordinating content to drive customer engagement and conversation with OCP. Additionally, the position supports traditional PR efforts in support of product and artist promotion. This position creates content that consistently represents the brand and voice of OCP as it pertains to the artists, composers, events, music and products.
The Copywriter is responsible for soliciting, organizing, and contributing content to all media channels to achieve company objectives. This position uses all major print, digital and social media channels to grow OCP’s exposure and engagement to create brand awareness, lead generation and sales. To achieve these objectives the Copywriter creates original content including: press releases, email marketing, blog posts, social media, print collateral and multimedia/digital content. They work closely with the designers and art director on concept and development of multimedia and video; storyboarding, script writing, interviewing and video coordination with outside parties (this may include promotional videos, documentaries, self-promotion and/or branding, tutorials, etc.).
