Job Description

Position: Senior Graphic Designer

FLSA: Exempt (Not eligible for overtime pay)

Schedule: This full-time position will work primarily out of the Augustine Institute home office in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually

The base compensation range above represents the low and high end of the compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Position Summary

We are looking for a highly creative Senior Graphic Designer, with a passion to serve the Lord, to produce and oversee digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing and development needs. To be successful in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design principles. You should also have real-life experience executing graphic design projects, from concept to production, in the areas of websites, print collateral, product packaging, layout design, and logo development. Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand by delivering high-quality pieces that meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Specific duties below may not be all-inclusive.

  • Leading design projects from concept to delivery
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and promote products
  • Maintain brand consistency across all projects
  • Manage and guide a team of freelance designers and outside agencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of related professional graphic design experience
  • Portfolio of completed design projects 

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to execute against tight deadlines with attention to budget goals

Familiarity with the Bible and Bible Study market with an awareness of trends in both Catholic and secular content delivery and consumption

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to succinctly and effectively present ideas and information

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, typing and use of office equipment, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
