ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This person is responsible for developing and overseeing the strategy, structure, and management of Labouré’s marketing efforts and is responsible for the development, organization, and coordination of the efforts necessary to successfully present Labouré to vocation directors and leaders of all dioceses and religious communities and to create compelling messaging about Laboure to elicit financial support from current and potential Laboure donors.

Key Performance Metrics
● Create an annual marketing plan as well as a 3-5 year long-range plan
● Support Admissions(recruiting), Advancement(fundraising), and Program (services) metric performance

Marketing Activities: Strategy
● Evaluate and develop our marketing strategy and marketing plan
● Develop approaches to identify growing religious institutions and create marketing pieces to target them
● Create and execute direct mail and other marketing pieces to identify potential program participants
● Communicate our marketing plan with all stakeholders
● Enhance and protect the Laboure brand

Marketing Activities: Operations
● Plan, direct, and coordinate all marketing efforts
● Support Admissions “recruiting” through advanced marketing from the prospect database of current and potential religious communities
● Work collaboratively and creatively to integrate admissions opportunities into publications and collateral materials for cultivating vocation directors, religious communities, dioceses, and potential aspirants
● Implement a marketing plan to secure major gifts, foundation grants, and to support annual fundraising events
● Assist Advancement efforts to identify and solicit donor prospects, with targeted marketing materials for private donors, corporations, foundations, and other granting agencies
● Support Advancement with marketing materials to further develop the Planned Giving and the Membership programs
● Support Program with training manual upgrades, vocation stories, videos, and photos at all training events
● Direct website development in support of departmental needs and SEO
● Direct all general marketing communications, including email blasts, radio, mail, and social media platforms.
● Develop and maintain monthly reports on progress toward goals
● Report results regularly to the executive director and board of directors


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


The Laboure Society is a lay apostolate serving the Roman Catholic Church by assisting men and women who wish to enter the priesthood or religious life in reducing or eliminating the impediment of student loan debt, by training them – as well as clergy and members of religious orders -- to become Gospel-based fundraisers. Accordingly, familiarity with the Roman Catholic Church as an organization and faith tradition is essential, including its teachings and values. Being able to understand and support the spiritual journeys of those individuals Laboure encounters and assists is also essential. Laboure does not require employees to be practicing Roman Catholics, provided
they are able to fulfill these essential requirements of their positions.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
● Proven track record of success in content marketing, social media, and website SEO management
● Adherence to ethical standards of the marketing profession
● B.A. or equivalent in Marketing or Design
● 5 years’ management experience
● 3 years’ industry management experience
● Industry knowledge of Adobe Suite software products
● Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
● Proven budget management abilities
