Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

The Parish Services Associate is an entrepreneurial, sales-oriented, relationship developer who serves as a primary point of contact and service to all of our parish and diocesan customers. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and provides consultative service to parish customer accounts. As an inside sales consultant, and primary manager of the CRM tool, this person advances sales opportunities, particularly, but not exclusively for an assigned region of the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Build relationships by reaching out to customers by phone, email or at events.

· Develops potential new customer contacts to grow revenue.

· Conducts comprehensive assessment of customer needs and provides ministry consultations to best determine full range of portfolio solutions.

· Provides consistent consultative service, making appropriate product recommendations and remaining alert to cross-selling opportunities that will benefit the customer, while looking to provide win-win solutions.

· Sets up phone conferences to present to multiple parish staff members about the OCP value proposition.

· Has territory ownership to manage customer base in a specific area of the country.

· Is primary point of contact with assigned accounts.

· Partners with Parish Ministry Consultant in the field, with shared territory, to meet targeted team sales goals and objectives.

·  Manages handoffs to appropriate partners including: Parish Ministry Consultants, Customer Success Tech Support, Accounting, and Events, to ensure customer success.

· Develops increased use and sales of OCP products and services to upgrade customer level.

· Uses powerpoint and other software tools to present to assigned customers in online meeting platform.

· May travel to conferences in territory as requested to develop relationships and cultivate sales and follow up.

· Seeks and Creates sales opportunities.

· Develops leads for OCP Event Department.

· Supports marketing campaign efforts with integrated messaging.

· Collaborates with Parish Services Ministry Consultants in supporting territorial parish customer needs, providing scheduling and contact information for meetings, and logging pertinent results in CRM.

· Communicates articulately both verbally and in writing to customers and internal partners.

· Participates in department, inter-departmental, and company meetings, and represents department in meetings and feedback sessions as needed.

· Demonstrates work habits and interpersonal action that aligns with OCP’s Mission, and core values of Passion, Empathy and Humility.

· Stays current on OCP products and Services, and participates in all required training and events. 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· May process payments, apply credits and make account balance adjustments and refunds as needed. 

· Properly documents customer suggestions, complaints, account changes, and key processing developments in the CRM and other in-house systems as arranged.

· Verifies key account contacts and updates customer records appropriately. 

· Communicates feedback to Parish Services and Customer Success Manager, Customer Success Team, Marketing, and other internal partners on customer needs, attitudes and responses to products and promotions. 

· Takes ownership of shepherding a customer with a grievance or issue through to resolution and satisfaction.

Requirements

 · Demonstrates the three core values of OCP – Humility, Empathy and Passion

· At least 2-5 years of sales or customer service experience

· College degree or equivalent experience

· Entrepreneurial spirit, disciplined self-starter

· Excellent communication skills, including written and oral

· Attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation in all written communications

· Advanced emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with demonstrated ability to adapt new technology and processes 

· Good attendance record 

· Knowledge of music and/or Catholic liturgy preferred 

· Bilingual skill (Spanish) preferred
