Job Description

Total Compensation: $40,000-$75,000 Plus Bonus

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Support research process at IWP Capital, LLC 
  • Collection and analysis of data points 
  • Assist in preparing client reports 
  • Research relevant topics 
  • Write analytic content such as whitepapers, reports, articles 
  • Presentation of research internally and to clients 
  • Cast proxy votes for companies 
  • Engage companies and attend corporate meeting in-person or virtually as needed 


Skills Desired: 

  • Excellent team member, learns quickly and strong work ethic 
  • Basic knowledge of the Catholic Church structure, encyclicals, and the USCCB Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to analyze and present large sets of data 
  • Strong business writing skills 
  • Ability to complete multi-stage projects within deadlines 
  • Coverage areas direct experience (life, human dignity, environment, weapons, corporate governance) 
  • Prior experience in data analysis or financial analysis roles 
  • Experience in coding (Python, SQL, VBA, Screen Scraping) a plus 
  • Experience with faith based or ESG investing research a plus 


We are currently seeking to fill several research analyst roles at our firm. Our analysts will focus on at least one of our research focus areas (life, human dignity, environment, weapons, or corporate governance).  This analyst will report directly to the Research Team and will be responsible for creating content for our clients and collecting and analyzing large sets of various data points on companies. To obtain this data the analysts will gain direct and extensive experience with Morningstar, Bloomberg Terminal, Amazon Web Services Databases, and screen scraping.  


Extensive prior experience is not required, but experience in coding, database management, financial analytics, and data analytics is preferred. Training for new employees will be provided and is expected that new employees be able to quickly adapt to company workflows and processes.
