Job Title: Facilities/ Maintenance Manager
Reports To: Director of Operations
Job Description/Summary

The Facilities/Maintenance Manager (FMM) is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance and safety of the buildings and property, which comprise the physical plant and vehicles for a crisis pregnancy center. The facility includes the 3 building campus in Bristol and our location in center city Philadelphia. The position is a full-time salaried, 24/7 on call for emergencies, and includes personal health benefits. The Facilities/ Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations. This position requires PA Child Abuse Clearance History and Criminal Background check.

Communication and Collaboration
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the advocates, program managers and leadership of the Legacy of Life Foundation is essential.
Use excellent oral, written and technology skills including Microsoft Office and Google to:
Complete weekly status reports
Update and communicate facility protocols
Manage facility purchasing protocols
Manage protocols regarding work orders and work requests.
Participate in annual budget planning and strategic planning processes
Attend regular staff, planning and problem solving meetings as scheduled.

Oversight, Maintenance, Cleaning and Safety
Oversight of systems including: HVAC, Plumbing, Fire, Electrical, Security, Light, Sound, Landscaping
Inspects the facilities on a weekly basis to determine necessary repair and maintenance of facilities.
Coordinate activities of those involved in repair, maintenance, safety and cleaning of buildings be that the FMM or outside contractor.
Review inspection reports to determine repairs or improvements and initiates resulting work.
Coordinates Health/Safety inspections: elevators, kitchen, and fire protection systems.
Orders/manages all facility supplies.
Schedule regular upkeep in the least disruptive way to functioning of the centers.
Weekly, meet with management and center staff, to determine needs and provide support
Perform routine inspections of outdoor areas to insure areas are free of safety hazards, trash, weeds and other foreign materials.
Perform or contract regular maintenance and upkeep of outside areas, including lawns, landscaped beds, and parking lots, to include weeding, mowing, landscape bark application, trash and litter removal and whatever else is required to keep areas clean and neat.
Help set up and breakdown as needed for organizational programs, which could include tables, chairs, sound equipment or other technology.
Plan and Manage internal and external moving of office furniture, fixtures and equipment

Maintenance and upkeep of company vehicle
Schedule routine & emergency repairs & maintenance of Legacy of Life Foundation vehicle(s).
Ensure daily, monthly, and annual inspections of vehicle(s)occurs. Maintain records of gas and oil expenditures, and routine maintenance in accordance with maintenance contract.
If necessary, assist in hiring, training, and the evaluation of the performance of service providers including van drivers. Arrange for back-up vehicles when necessary.
Ensure van drivers are trained, licensed, tested and certified as required by law to drive vehicles.

Additional Requirements
Minimum of two year's experience with building management.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
Experience with Microsoft office and Google (G Suite)software
Knowledge of computer networks and wiring a plus
Basic craftsman capabilities.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds, walk up and down stairs and ladders.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language and have a valid driver's license.
