Visitation Home is a Catholic non-profit driven by the Gospel principle that human life is sacred at every stage of life and in every situation. We are first and foremost a community where people with developmental disabilities and those without live as family, experiencing life, love, and prayer together. Visitation Home also offers a day program for adults with developmental disabilities, serving over 40 adults between three locations.
We recognize our responsibility to grow in a spirit of openness, simplicity, and love through meaningful relationships. It is through these relationships that we discover each other's gifts and the inherent dignity of each individual.
Visitation Home is a place where many people from diverse backgrounds come and spend time with our residents for meals, prayer, community gatherings, chores and fun activities. Through these interactions a bond is formed, along with a desire to spend more time with the people. We believe this happens because God has chosen each person who wishes to share time at our homes, to be an important part of our community. It is a mystery of grace - something you will discover for yourself when you come to visit!
