We are looking for passionate Catholics, between 20-29 years old, who want to grow in leadership, holiness and inspire the next generation to live out their Catholic faith. SPIRITUS missionaries live in communities by gender, travel to schools and parishes throughout Wisconsin, and inspire 5,000+ youth in grades 2-12 through retreats, spiritual programs, and parish-based youth ministry.
SPIRITUS missionaries come to Wisconsin from all over the U.S. and spend nine months on mission from mid-August to mid-May, receiving one-on-one mentoring, spiritual direction, lodging, food, monthly allowance, health insurance and $3,000 upon completion of the mission year. Absolutely no fundraising is required! Youth Ministry Internships are even available to team members who wish to gain more experience in ministry.
SPIRITUS will give you the opportunity to learn valuable evangelization, youth ministry and leadership skills all while deepening your faith, discerning God’s plan for your life and growing in holiness. The mission of SPIRITUS is to inspire young Catholics to spread the Gospel and renew the Church! Our two main goals are to inspire thousands of young Catholics and form young adults to be lifelong missionary disciples and leaders for the Church.
SPIRITUS is a fast growing evangelization ministry. SPIRITUS missionaries work out of Mount Tabor Center and area parishes. They travel throughout Wisconsin evangelizing 5,000 Catholic youth to grow in faith and follow Jesus.
