Holy Trinity, a 200+ year-old Jesuit parish and school in Georgetown, Washington, DC, is seeking a creative, energetic and skilled communications professional to join our pastoral staff.
The Communications Director will oversee our existing print and digital platforms and assist us in adopting the latest in effective non-profit outreach and ministry. The successful candidate will bring years of education, experience, and knowledge to draft, edit, and manage a range of regular publications and social media platforms - working collaboratively with our school, our development program and the pastoral ministries of the parish - to bring good news to our broad and diverse community, using all the communications tools available.
Working with the Pastor and staff as well as parishioners and parents serving on our communications committees, the Director is responsible to develop and manage a strategic communications plan to ensure synergy across our ministries and fidelity to our parish’s goal to “accompany one another in Christ, celebrate God’s love and transform lives.”
The ideal candidate would be a practicing Catholic in good standing and an active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community. She or he must have a Bachelor's Degree in communications or related field, and at least three years experience in a similar communications role(s). Experience with MailChimp, Canva and AdobeInDesign is a plus.
This is a full-time, salaried position, with a competitive salary, flexible hours and good benefits. Evening and weekend work are occasionally required.
