This position plays a supportive role within a Software Development Team within the AI (Augustine Institute). The AI has a highly sophisticated environment with a twenty-plus person, cross-functional, multi-discipline team using state of the art software development techniques.

The role of interns will be to learn our development environment and join one of our software development teams in implementing functionality for the FORMED Platform.  Interns will have the opportunity to participate in our software development process to help us to build out the FORMED platform.

Software Interns will be directed by a supervisor or manager and are required to positively interact and communicate with their supervisor. Detailed responsibilities will be provided by the designated supervisor. This team is primarily based in Greenwood Village office and may be staffed with both AI staff as well as vendor supplied consultants. This position will require working out of our Greenwood Village, CO office.

Software Interns are expected to fulfill their designated hours and report absences in a timely preferably written communication any changes due to school as well as person time off may be asked to be flexible to ensure that critical deliverables are not blocked by limitations of hours. Software Interns must demonstrate a positive Christian attitude and work ethic and remain respectful to the mission and purpose of AI. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer Science Major or Advanced CS Related Degree
  • Be a self-starter with an ability to work independently within a dispersed development team
  • Be comfortable in fast paced dynamic environment
  • Be devout and well-grounded in your Christian Faith, to be living your life faithfully to the teachings of Christ and of the Church
