POSITION SUMMARY
The Registrar Services Specialist will assist with the management and performance of primary Registrar’s Office Services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Commencement planning and all related correspondence, reports, audits, events, caps and gowns, service agreements, supplies, and communication with other offices and vendors.
2. Updating degree audits based on approved curriculum proposals for courses/programs.
3. Assisting in the production of the semester course and room schedules.
4. Vault maintenance as it relates to the storing of academic records as required by federal and state authorities and semi-annual purge of eligible records.
5. Responding to internal and external data and report requests.
6. Assist with transfer credit evaluation and new student scheduling.
7. Participating in University events for new students such as Baron Days and Orientation.
8. Participating in staff meeting and other projects determined by the Registrar.

REQUIREMENTS
Must understand, support, and embrace the mission of Franciscan University of Steubenville and possess the following:
Work Experience
· Experience with administrative work in a higher education setting is preferred.
· Experience working in an office environment is preferred.

Education
· Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred (or anticipated by May 2022).
Technical Skills
· Familiar with computer information systems
· Capacity to utilize database applications and reporting software (prior experience with reporting software preferred but not required).
· Proficient using Microsoft Office and related applications.
Workplace Factors
· Ability to work regularly on-campus in an office setting.
· Occasional flexible and extended scheduling (graduation, orientation).
