St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station, Texas, seeks an experienced, educated individual committed to ensuring the overall development of the liturgical life of the parish, to successfully fill the role of Liturgy Director or Liturgy Coordinator (title based on level of education and relevant experience). Acknowledging that liturgy and sacramental life are integral to the expression of our Catholic faith, the Liturgy Director or Liturgy Coordinator, under the supervision of the Pastoral Associate, is responsible for ensuring quality liturgical celebrations that are welcoming, engaging for the whole family in the worship and prayer life of the community, and that encourage service within the liturgies. A bachelor's degree and some liturgical experience is required for this position. Five or more years' experience leading liturgical ministry in a Catholic parish, or a master's degree in religious studies, Theology, or Liturgy is preferred. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires 30-40 hours of work per week, including working some early mornings, some evenings, and every weekend.
