PROGRAM MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Program Manager, you will report to Agnus Dei Foundation Board.  

Your duties and responsibilities are:

 Work with Each Resident

.        Oversee and implement 30-day trial curriculum

·        Monitor residents progress daily

·        Identify volunteer opportunities for birthmothers who are not in school or working

·        Assist and support educational goals for birthmothers

·        Assist birthmothers in employment applications and interviewing skills

·        Act as a point of contact for resident’s family, medical needs, counselor, mentor etc.

·        Attend appointments with residents and help keep them accountable

·        Provide rides to residents as needed

·        Be an emotional support to each resident and crisis call

Aftercare Program 

·        Maintaining contact and relationship with Lamb of God “graduates”

·        Keeping records of special dates in their lives and their baby’s life

Administrative Work: 

.       After an initial period of training, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the crisis hotline phone, and ensuring calls are answered/responded to promptly, whether it be by the Program Manager, or other staff members. 

.       Answer all non-financial calls related to the ministry

.       Report quarterly at board meeting

·       Work closely with Sarah Lanza and any other adoption professionals on the adoptions

Events & Fundraising:

Assist ADF Board and staff in planning and executing fundraising endeavors to include special events at the ministry and any dinners, teas, galas, concerts that will take place at other locations:

.        Annual Spaghetti Dinner

·        Fall fundraiser

.        St. Timothy’s Annual Walk for Life

·        San Diego Walk for Life

·        Work with other staff and volunteers to set up tables with materials at events

·        Promote ministry through presence or speaking

·        Enroll and coach birthmothers to share their story and experience at forums

Work with our Adoption Advocate and collaborate with her on outreach including but not limited to:

·        Women’s shelters

·        Schools

·        Pregnancy Resource Centers

·        Churches

·        Women’s Health Centers

·        County organizations
