Position Overview

Are you a financial leader with a passion for the Great Commission? FOCUS is seeking a strategic Finance Director to drive the scalability and growth of the mission. In this crucial role, you'll lead financial operations, from budgeting to forecasting, and develop a high-performing finance team. You'll play a pivotal part in optimizing our funding model and collaborating with senior leaders to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations: Direct daily financial activities such as reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Team Management: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, professional development, and mission zeal.
• Optimize Funding Model: Innovate and refine our funding strategy to enhance financial sustainability and expand the apostolate.
• Finance Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to key internal leaders, ensuring financial strategies are fully integrated with organizational goals.
• Strategic Oversight: Drive strategic financial initiatives that bolster long-term organizational success. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation & Benefits $140,000 to $180,000/year  + robust benefits
