The ideal Dean of Curriculum and Pedagogy has a deep knowledge of classical education and pedagogy and is an excellent communicator and leader who guides teachers to pursue excellence in their craft, engages families in meaningful learning partnerships, and partners with the Head of School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Faculty Recruitment & onboarding
• Serve as primary instructional leader
• Professional Development
• Provide teachers with coaching, support & feedback aimed at excellence in instruction, classroom management, virtue training, etc.
• Create and manage systems for academic mentoring
• Classroom instruction

Qualities

• Practicing Catholic, loyal to the Magisterium
• BA required, MA or PhD preferred
• Expertise in classical curriculum and pedagogy, literacy, mathematics and beyond
• Significant teaching experience
• Leadership skills
• High moral character, humility
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Collaborative & flexible

Salary $65,000 -$70,000
