As Vice President of Administration and Finance, you will impact these goals by being responsible for the business office, human resources, risk management, insurance, and serving as a liaison with legal counsel.

This position will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team and an advisor to the Board of Directors.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, manage and hold the support teams accountable to the strategic goals of the College. 
  • Oversee the Human Resources processes and procedures of the College.
  • Oversee the physical infrastructure (facilities, grounds, fleet, and essential equipment) and IT infrastructure of the College.
  • Coordinate with counsel to navigate legal issues facing the College.
  • Maintain and update the College’s manuals and handbooks and ensure their compliance with the Catholic educational mission of the College.
  • Effectively communicate throughout the College community.
  • Supervise the business operations of the College.
  • Provide strategic analysis and planning, including advising the President on the operational and fiscal impact of proposed endeavors.
  • Provide short-term and long-term financial forecasting, budgeting and cash flow management. 
  • Lead the President and senior team members in evaluating decisions that reduce expenses and debt, increase student revenue, increase net revenue and increase financial liquidity.
  • Manage lender relationships and arranging the timely refinancing of debt and associated collateral.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the President.

What you’ll bring (skills, culture-fit, and mission-fit)

  • Relevant College degree (Master’s degree a plus)

  • Extensive experience with the following: zero based budgeting, supervising a team and completing projects linked to strategic goals, capital improvements planning, business operations management.
  • Experience working as a member of collaborative small teams as an agent for operational improvement.
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize projects under tight budget constraints.
  • Ability to handle stress due to competing office duties
