Seeking creative and energetic bilingual (Spanish/English) individual to assist in the strategic expansion of St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in upper Manhattan. This growth-oriented position entails:
- Working alongside the Executive Director to develop programs, outreach, marketing, and mission-centered initiatives;
- Writing, or assisting in writing, print and digital content designed to increase knowledge of and devotion to Mother Cabrini and deepen love of Jesus;
- Assisting with fundraising and development initiatives;
- Some ability with event planning and public speaking.
The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with 5+ years in non-profit marketing or communications who is passionate about his/her faith.
Requirements:
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• BA from an accredited college or university
• Experience with digital tools including content management systems, mass mail systems and social media platforms.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Takes initiative; willing to learn and grow
• Able to manage multiple projects at once
Job Particulars:
- Position: Full-time
- Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: Full time, with at least one weekend day required. The Shrine is closed on Mondays.
Pay and benefits: Salary range: $60-65,000, with 401(k), health care, dental, and vision benefits available.
