Job Description

At Franciscan our Manager of Natural Family Planning will provide an outstanding patient experience in women’s health, while embracing the Catholic teachings and Ethical and Religious Directives. They assist with providing individualized, integrative gynecological and prenatal care, natural family planning education, and services for infertility with a deep commitment to a woman’s dignity, fertility appreciation, and the sanctity of human life.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Provide expertise to other team members in implementing the creation of a Natural Family Planning Center.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Creighton Model FertilityCare™ services.

  • Interacts with patients of Franciscan Health Center for Women & Children and those utilizing FertilityCare services.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local FertilityCare™ Practitioners and NaProTechnology® physicians and educators of other methods of Natural Family Planning.

  • Orient and promote services available at the Natural Family Planning Center to credentialed Franciscan Health physicians, especially Family Medicine, Pediatrics and OB/GYN’s.

  • Promote Natural Family Planning program by giving presentations at local churches and Catholic schools, collaborating with the local Catholic Diocese and assists with the facilitation of Natural Family Planning related support groups within Franciscan Health and local community.

  • Establish and maintain formal affiliation with FertilityCare Centers of America (FCCA), American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals (AAFCP) Fertility Appreciation Collaborative to Teach the Science.

  • Maintain knowledge of FertilityCare™ and NaProEducation®, and other methods of Natural Family Planning by independent study of professional journals, maintenance of certification, and attending Natural Family Planning and FertilityCare™ continuing education programs through various programs including, but not limited to, AAFCP and FACTS conferences and seminars, in-person, and online.


 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree Nursing - Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Preferred

  • Certificate Completion of accredited Creighton Model FertilityCare™ Education Program - Preferred

  • 5 years Nursing - Required

  • 3 years Fertility Care/Family Planning - Preferred

  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in applicable state - Required

  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
