Job Description

Creatio is offering a full-time, salaried position to a highly organized and personable individual who is passionate about fundraising, in love with his/her Catholic faith, and has a desire to work in a fast-paced Catholic non-profit environment with the goal of bringing young adults into a relationship with Christ and His Church.

Who We Are: Creatio is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Catholic organization in the state of Colorado, and our mission is to guide all people to encounter the beauty of creation and the Creator through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure and care for creation.

What We Do: Creatio works to promote the mission of reconciling human persons with the environment through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship.  Through these experiences, we work to create an environment of encounter – encounter with God, with ourselves, with others, and with creation. Creatio members are volunteers, professionals, and friends working to address environmental and human issues on a deeper level.  Our goal is to facilitate an active transformation of ourselves and others, as well as the environment.

Responsibilities

Development:

 

Lead logistics and planning for annual fundraising gala, directing a team of up to seven volunteers to execute a successful event that will bring in over $40,000 in fundraising revenue

Work with E.D. to develop and execute fundraising plan

Schedule and meet with lapsed donors and potential new donors to ask for support to Creatio

Generate reports in Kindful to guide the Executive Director in prioritizing donor relationships and scheduling donor meetings

Support the donor and contact management process through maintaining donor management system (Kindful) and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all data

Manually record cash and check donations into donor management system (Kindful)

Work with Grant Writing Intern to prioritize, write, and submit grants

Oversee fundraising initiatives such as Colorado Gives Day and Giving Tuesday

Oversee snail mail campaigns to potential and existing donors

 

Business Administration:

 

Assist Executive Director in overseeing the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the organization

Work to standardize all Creatio processes and policies to ensure ease of transition to new locations

Reply and diligently follow up with general email inquiries

Assist Executive Director in the development of annual budget

Provide general administrative support

Take minutes at board meetings

 

Outreach:

 

Research, prioritize, and initiate relationships with new institutions or universities to plan and coordinate their mission/adventure Experiences, introducing them to E.D. as necessary

Meet and follow up with contacts at institutions or universities to book new Experiences with Creatio and renew past relationships

Qualified Candidates will Possess:

Incredible passion for Creatio’s mission, desire to grow in the Catholic faith, and a deep calling to guide young adults to Christ and His Church

Thorough experience in event planning

1-2 years of experience in fundraising and/or sales

Amazing ability to connect with others, form new relationships and bring people together

Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and understand how it is connected to the bigger picture

Uncanny attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

Very proficient in learning new technologies, especially Kindful

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently as demonstrated by previous work experience

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
