Program Description: Trinity Teen Solutions, Inc. (TTS) is a all-teen-girls', Christian-based, therapeutic residential program. Our form of therapy is based on Christian Counseling, using animal therapy, experiential education, religious education, outdoor behavioral health individual, group and family therapy with emphasis is a multitude of therapeutic approaches like; DBT, EMDR, REBT, CBT, MRT, cognitive restructuring, and trauma informed care, just to name a few.

TTS is located in a remote breathtaking ranch at the base of the Beartooth Mountain Range. Our Christian residential treatment center for struggling teens is dedicated to helping young women through evidenced based innovative therapeutic techniques in a small, safe, loving environment.

Trinity Teen Solutions utilizes a holistic approach wherein we treat the ENTIRE person. Our individualized treatment approaches for each client will emphasize interventions for her MIND (mental health), BODY (physical health), and SOUL (spiritual health). Trinity Teen Solutions’ three-part philosophy works with teens and their families to develop skills necessary to build positive, healthy relationships. The goal of Trinity Teen Solutions is to help individuals suffering with mental health issues to develop the emotional, social and intellectual skills needed to independently live, learn, and work in the community

  • We are a 14 bed, faith-based mental health treatment program for adolescent girls, ages 12-17.
  • We specialize in treating patients that are experiencing acute mental health illnesses that are in need of intense inpatient and outpatient treatment. Some diagnosis that we treat are depression, anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, adoption issues, divorce issues, self-harm and substance abuse.
  • We use evidenced based therapeutic approaches in our group, individual and family therapies, such as CBT, DBT, REBT, EMDR, Seeking Safety all from a Trauma Informed Care perspective.
  • We are a small family style program. This small environment encourages the patients to heal and overcome their issues because they are not just another number. They know that our staff are invested in their overall wellbeing.

Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

Displays good theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and appropriate treatment techniques for each type of therapy.

Responsible for performing psychosocial assessments on all patients to determine therapeutic needs, diagnosis and plan of care.

Evaluates patient data, develops and implements a plan of care for the patient.

Ability to communicate with physician regarding therapeutic and behavioral healthcare needs of the patient.

Participates in bi-weekly plan of care for each patient; works cooperatively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team; completes admission assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge plans in a timely fashion.

Provides individual patient and family therapy and crisis intervention.

Maintains current knowledge of social, medical and psychiatric services available within the patient’s community; maintains supply of resource materials to be distributed to patients when needed.  Is able to obtain other resources as needed.

Communicates with family members and caretakers regarding the needs of the patient and anticipated plans.

Collaborates with medical billing company supplying them with detailed ASAMS and Utilization Reviews in a timely manner for insurance reimbursement.

Treats patients and families with respect and dignity.  Identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patient and family.

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.

Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.

Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.

Acts on performance improvement issues identified during CQI meetings.

Actively participates in case conferencing, CQI, varying team meetings and other meetings, as appropriate.

Maintains and respects confidentiality of patient/physician/staff information.

Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

Maintains a good working relationship with all staff members.

Consults with others as appropriate to collaborate on patient care and performance improvement activities.

Accurately determines type of assistance/setting/resources necessary for the patient/ family and provides appropriate resources/assistance/list of facilities.

Documentation meets current standards and policies.

Prepares reports, maintains case records, statistics.

Promotes personal professional growth through continuing education, seminars/ conferences, professional journals and societies.

Collaborates with all programs/facilities/hospitals, where patients require such assistance or in the case of transfers to another facility/hospital/program.

Professional Requirements:

Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean.

Completes annual education requirements.

Maintains regulatory requirements.

Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.

Completes inservices and returns in a timely fashion.

Attends annual review and department inservices, as scheduled.

Attends at least 15 staff meetings annually, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes.

Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.

Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.

Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Counseling.
  • Current licensure or the ability to be provisionally licensed as a Professional Counselor in Wyoming.
  • Current certification/training in the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior.

Language Skills:

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
