Creatio is offering a summer internship designed to gain practical insight into non-profit work. Emphasis is on developing spiritual formation materials and documenting business processes. As a junior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to learn entrepreneurial skills in a startup non-profit environment. The internship is unpaid but may include a project trip sponsored by Creatio. Who We Are: Creatio is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Catholic organization in the state of Colorado, and our mission is to guide all people to encounter the beauty of creation and the Creator through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship. What Our Organization Does: Creatio works to promote this mission of reconciling human persons with the environment through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship. Through these experiences, we work to create an environment of encounter – encounter with God, with ourselves, with others, and with creation. Creatio members are volunteers, professionals, and friends working to address environmental and human issues on a deeper level. Our goal is to facilitate an active transformation of ourselves and others, as well as the environment. Location: Remote or Denver, CO Start date: Summer 2018 Time commitment: Based on availability Responsibilities: Work with Creatio’s Spiritual Formation Director to develop mobile and hardcopy Creatio Guidebook to be used in the outdoors to facilitate Catholic spiritual reflections and Bible studies during hikes and other adventures. Learn Creatio’s business operations by working closely with Executive Director to document and standardize the following processes and procedures: Launching a new Experience Location Planning and Executing an Experience Recruiting & Training Guides Budgeting and Invoicing for Experiences Study and internalize the theology behind Creatio’s vision of guiding all people to Christ and his church through beauty; the four relationships; and reconciliation between the human person and the environment. Assist in day-to-day administrative duties such as email communication, data input, and other tasks.
