Job Title: Photographer/Videographer Reports to: Associate to the Pastor Expected Start Date: August 1st, 2019 Role Purpose We are seeking a creative, hardworking, personable, and driven photographer to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in the visual storytelling and branding of our company. You will use artificial and natural lightning to aid you in creating strong photographs and videos to appeal to our parishioners. The type of pictures you take will depend on what our team asks for, but you will collaborate with a variety of creatives in both studio and natural settings. Duties and Responsibilities Take images for certain information in the bulletin Take photographs for weddings, mass, and other event settings Collaborates with the staff and ministry leaders to ensure their desire for the project is being fulfilled Shoots corporate work that will be used for websites and other promotional material Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production Produces engaging videos frequently for sharing on social media Other duties as assigned Qualifications Some items to be considered for the position: Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments Experience working with photo and video editing software 5+ years of experience working with cameras, lighting, and other photography equipment Portfolio requirement Professional photography and videography experience (at least 2 years) Organized, dependable and detail oriented Cooperative team member Takes direction and constructive criticism well High sense of urgency Able to work well under pressure Bachelor’s degree or more a plus Understanding of Roman Catholicism, a plus Must pass a criminal background check Must receive a Protecting God’s Children certificate Considerations Some items to be considered for the position: Part-Time Must provide own camera/video camera Flexible hours available, must be in constant communication with supervisors Benefits not included If interested, please forward your resume and a cover letter to Nick Leeper at email@example.com .
