POSITION SUMMARY: The Evangelical Catholic is experiencing great growth, by the grace of the Holy Spirit. Many leaders in the Catholic Church are eager to better form Catholic disciples and launch them into transformative mission. When Catholic laity are passionately mobilized to share the Good News in compelling ways within trusting relationships, the world will change. More and more leaders in the Catholic Church see this vision, but they need help to realize it. Through over 100 consulting contracts, the Evangelical Catholic is currently launching movements of Catholic lay evangelization all over the country and in different parts of the world. With 42% growth over the past year, more leadership is needed on our staff to ensure that our ministry team is well cared for and managed for maximal fruitfulness. The Director of Consulting Operations for the Evangelical Catholic (EC) is primarily responsible for leading and managing the ministry staff, which includes ensuring optimal client satisfaction and achievement for contracted ministries. The Evangelical Catholic inspires, trains, and supports leaders to launch and drive dynamic movements of evangelization in their communities. Through contractual relationships with parishes, Catholic campus ministries, and local organizations, EC staff provide personalized consulting services and robust resources to launch movements of evangelization driven by deeply evangelized lay leaders. Essential Functions Statement(s) • Manage, mentor, and coach ministry staff in their execution of consulting contracts and development of supporting content; develop knowledge and best practices. • Develop and execute a personnel development plan for each direct report • Help build mission capacity by increasing the caliber of ministry staff, tightening processes, and implementing scalable quality controls. • Provide support to ministry staff throughout their engagements and projects, ensuring optimum client satisfaction and achievement of milestones while also creating a work culture defined by the EC's Core Values • Work with the Vice President of Operations to establish and execute ministry goals that ensure the fulfillment of quarterly and annual objectives for the EC. • Ensure all ministry contracts and content development projects are completed within scope and budget • Maintain a pool of candidates for new hires using the EC's onboarding system, in order to ensure the EC can maintain excellence in consulting in the midst of significant growth. • Identify and maintain relationships with contractors who can support the writing, editing, and publishing functions of the EC. Pursue opportunities to raise the profile of the EC through content development, • Provide leadership to editorial, design, and production of EC content; delegate and work collaboratively with other staff members to expand the scope and depth of services offered. • Help to ensure all materials are consistent with Roman Catholic teachings and the particular charism of the Evangelical Catholic. • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
