In my current role, I oversee the direct marketing campaigns for several different nonprofit organizations. I help these organizations develop an annual calendar of targeted outreach efforts with communications meant to grow support for their charitable causes. Once the calendar of campaign topics is developed, I draft the copy and oversee the art creation to bring these campaigns to life — ensuring each one tells the unique stories of these organizations’ important missions to inspire charitable gifts. I have worked with several Catholic nonprofits in this regard.
I previously managed the communications efforts at two Catholic nonprofit organizations. In these roles, I served as the primary media relations contact and worked directly with executive staff on crisis communications. As the chief communications officer, I drove content creation online and in print to advance program objectives. This included collaborating with overseas contacts to keep our mostly U.S.-based audience informed about their support of work in other countries. I also served as the main administrator and content creator for the websites, social media platforms, and email marketing channels. Having managed communications and development departments, I understand the importance of collaboration across departments to ensure brand cohesion while crafting unique messaging for different constituent audiences.
Additionally, I have written about the Catholic faith and how Church teaching impacts our lives and our society for over a decade for numerous Catholic and secular media publications.
I’m committed to using the skills God has given me and that I have learned through the years to further spread the Gospel and win souls for Christ’s Kingdom. I grew up in a Catholic household, was married in the Church, and now strive to lead my family to be strong in the faith. I volunteer at my local parish school where my daughter attends second grade, volunteer as a catechist to teach religious education, and support our local Knights of Columbus.
