I was born and grew up in remote Alaska, where a Jesuit priest would hike 3 miles to bring us Easter sacraments. I attended one year of high school at St. Mary's Mission, a Jesuit boarding school. I am Alaska Native and a descendant of German crusaders, a child of ancient and new missionary Catholic faith.
Education is important to me, I have an Associates degree in computers and a Bachelors degree in forestry, with half of an MBA. I homeschooled as a child and homeschooled my two children, honors students, using Catholic curriculum. Life is ongoing education.
I started the Interior Star Kateri Circle and helped my son get the Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Social Justice Committee up and running at the direction of the Bishop of Northern Alaska in Fairbanks, Alaska
In summary, I want to use my talents for writing, teaching, scientific research and analysis, problem solving, communication (especially across cultures), public relations, art, poetry, innovation, and deep Catholic spirituality to serve Christ while earning a living to help support my family.
