My name is Seth.
I'm a married father of four, and active parishioner at St John the Baptist in Longmont, Colorado. I organize/lead a Thursday morning men's scripture study, help out with hospitality for RCIA, and am involved in Liturgy as a lector, cantor, and member of the Men's choir.
I've got about a decade of experience in software development starting as a hands-on coder and currently a somewhat-hands-off leader of software developers (in other words, a cat herder). My technical experience includes architecture & design, coding & implementation/integration, and skews heavily toward troubleshooting & end-user support.
I've been through acquisitions, shepherded a team through intense organizational change, managed attrition, interviewed and hired, and hustled to keep our clients happy through it all. I can translate technical jargon into English, and likewise translate vague client requirements into workable tech specs.
In short, I have a wealth of technical and non-technical experience, above-average communication skills, and a drive for success that I would love to bring to the right organization.
Honestly, submitting my resume here is kind of a lark (how many Catholic software groups are there?). But. How amazing would it be to find a great opportunity where I could use my hard-earned job skills to further the body of Christ?
So, if this blurb and my resume pique your interest, feel free to reach out, even if it seems like a long shot.
Thanks & God Bless
