I am Gino Loguibis, CIF, a Catholic from the Philippines.
I was raised as a Marian devotee. During my childhood, we were a devotee of the Our Lady of Penafrancia, and now, a devotee of the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. I became an active member of the Neo-Catechumenate during my teens until I went to study tertiary education at a Jesuit-run college. I am unable to finish my education due to financial constraints.
And then, in order to support myself, I found myself working as a Pastoral Worker for the Jaro Archdiocesan Social Action Center (JASAC) from 2010 until 2014. When my father died, I was so devastated that I was unable to work so I resigned as JASAC's Pastoral Worker.
I explored freelancing jobs online and at the end of 2014, I landed some translation jobs (English to Filipino), data encoding jobs, and eventually an online forum moderatorship. This job basically salvaged me, thanks to the Blessed Virgin and her Son, our Lord, and I was able to marry my long-time girlfriend, and we helped her sister finish her College.
After receiving the sacrament of matrimony, I volunteered in our parish and eventually was offered to become its pastoral worker. The allowance is below the minimum and cannot be considered as a source of income, but I happily accepted the offer because I wanted to help our parish.
I also became the Parish Pastoral Council Secretary for five years, Education Ministry head for three years, and currently I am providing assistance to our Parish Drugstore, and to a Marian group named Visita Domicilaria.
As a freelancer, I can work with minimum supervision. I can quickly learn how to use new applications related to the task, and I know how to relate to people in a non-voice setup.
I am 46 now and am still willing and ready to develop myself both as a Catholic, and a Catholic worker.
Work Experience
Basically, assist the Parish Priest in everything. Serves as the parish Priest's alter ego on the ground, and the voice of the faithful in the Parish Office. Execute and monitor some Parish pastoral Projects, and assist the Pastoral Council in carrying out its pastoral plans and programs.
Served as Triage Officer. I assign tickets to graphic artists and engage clients in a nice conversation as they wait for the designs they want to print. In so doing, I also helped close minor deals and convert some conversations into sales.
I also executed other tasks to help the Store Manager, such as uploading new stocks into the store, monitoring sales, and order data encodings.

At some point, I was allowed by the management to respond, especially during weekends when on-site staff are not at work. In so doing, I also helped close minor deals and convert some conversations into sales.
I also served as a Forum moderator for Androtics' online forum. I also did some online research from time to time.
I also executed other tasks to help the Store Manager, such as uploading new stocks into the store, monitoring sales, and Order data encodings.
I served as the main Pastoral Worker executing tasks such as Program Officer, Training Officer, Field Organizer, Desk Manager, and assistant to the JASAC Director during out-of-town trainings and seminars.
Created and released the CARTOONS, a monthly compilation of political cartoons.
During this period, I was commissioned by the Jaro Archdiocesan Social Action Center (JASAC) to translate and create a comics of the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church, and another comics about corruption.
