After enlisting in 2020, completed basic training for the US Navy at RTC Great Lakes, Illinois, including:
the initial Baseline Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) baseline;
swim qualification, the U.S. Navy Third Class Swim Test;
first PFA or Physical Fitness Assessment;
classroom training on the topic of anti-terrorism, firefighting/survival;
practicing firefighting in full gear;
a comprehensive test about firefighting, a drill inspection and the last PFA;
and “Battle Stations,” a 12-hour simulation comprising everything that recruits have learned at boot camp, including firefighting, swimming, water survival, shipboard damage control and teamwork in a high-stress environment.
As an able-bodied seaman, rose to the rank of Petty Officer Third Class (E-4).
-We represent the junior and mid-grade non-commissioned officer ranks of many naval services, and are generally responsible for the day-to-day supervision of ranks junior to us.
-We perform not only the duties of our specific career field but also serve as leaders to junior enlisted personnel.
-We must take responsibility for our subordinates, address grievances, inform the chain of command on matters pertaining to good order and discipline, and may even have to place personnel on report.

Religious program specialist (RP) is a United States Navy rating. Religious program specialists assist naval chaplains in their duties as well as provide support to naval chaplains in developing programs to meet the needs of U.S. Navy sailors, U.S. Marines, and their families.
Completed RP “A” School at the Naval Chaplaincy School and Center at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island and Marine Corp “C” School at Camp Johnson, North Carolina. RP functions include:
Supporting chaplains of all faiths and religious activities of the command;
Maintaining records, ecclesiastical documents, and references of various faith groups;
Maintaining liaison with religious and community agencies;
Assisting in preparation of devotional and religious educational materials, and audiovisual displays;
Determining, developing, managing, and maintaining the administrative and logistical support requirements of religious programs aboard ships, shore stations, hospitals, Marine Corps units, and other sea service commands;
Unlike Chaplains, RP's are not exempt from combatant status;
Operating and maintaining libraries aboard ships and isolated duty stations;
Performing bookkeeping and accounting functions related to Religious Offerings Fund transactions;
As custodians, rigging, and unrigging for religious activities;
Publicizing the command’s religious activities;
Training command religious program volunteers on logistics and instruction methods;
Supervising Chaplain’s Office personnel;
Performing administrative, clerical, and secretarial duties;
Stocking and maintaining field mount-out boxes.
The Teacher’s Aide performs duties that are instructional in nature or deliver direct services to students or parents. Serves in a position for which a teacher has ultimate responsibility for the design and implementation of educational programs and services.
