Aloha,
My name is Victoria Ann Tirado and I am hoping to be employed in a setting that is faith-centered and based. In my life I've been called toward pathways that allowed me to work with youth as well as elders in numerous settings.
I recently graduated from California Baptist University with a master's degree in social work and received my bachelor's degree in early childhood and Family Studies and Medical Anthropology from the University of Washington (Seattle).
Through my current job and collegiate studies, I was grateful to gain experiences in teaching, youth care, medical settings, and social work settings.
For teaching, I've gained experience in my current occupation as Preschool Assistant Teacher, and while in college, volunteering as Third Grade science fair mentor.
For childcare settings, I gained experience in college for field assignments as an Elementary School After School Care Mentor at St. Therese Catholic Academy, and Refugee Preschool Care Assistant Teacher with Seattle's Neighborhood House.
For medical settings, I was graced the opportunity to be a Health Scholar with COPE Health Solutions, working on a patient care team on various departments (Gynecology/Surgical, Emergency, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). I was later granted the opportunity to join the organization's Leadership Team as Recruitment Coordinator, and later, Assistant Director of Recruitment.
Lastly, for my social work experience, I was granted the opportunity to do field work while under Supervision at Washington Elementary School in Santa Ana as a Mental Health Counselor (working with students in case coordination and families in resource management), and with All Hours Adult Care as Case Manager (serving remotely) for elders in California.
As for licenses, I have my ASW (Associate Clinical Social Worker) and am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I unfortunately do not have a formal teaching license yet but have taken numerous trainings through my schooling and current job as a Preschool Assistant Teacher.
I currently reside on the island of Oahu, HI, but relocation to Colorado State is possible. If remote work is possible, I will not stray from giving my complete effort to those that I serve.
I am posting with prayerful hope to serve in an occupation that glorifies the Lord.

God Bless!
I have the joy of working with a great team of teachers, and with extraordinary "littles". Following an evidence-based curriculum, we engage young ones aged 2-5 in language learning, scientific exploration, and social skills development, to name a few.
With a grateful heart I have the opportunity to serve elders in residential care facilities in Riverside and Orange County as their Case Manager. I look forward to bi-weekly service visits with 15 residents, encouraging them in their goals, walking alongside them in recovery, and/or simply assisting where I can in resource and service connection as they seek to live their best Golden Years of life.
Positively grateful for the chance to be an intern and serve as an academic resource to youth through Socialwise within the Santa Ana Unified School District. In Group Supervision at SocialWise I learned evidence-based practices to support those I worked with week-by-week. I had nothing but joy with the 8 students on my caseload (grades 1-5). On our weekly check-in's they helped sharpen my teaching skills in Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and art/music therapy. I look forward to taking what I learned here out into the field and in life.
Worked cohesively as a team to foster meaningful connections with residents across campus housing communities in the process of planning and orchestrating inclusive, campus-wide social events. Performed administrative duties while assisting with the management of internal affairs.
