Personal Summary

Hello Everyone! My name is Elizabeth (Lisa) Urena and this is my 5th semester with FUS. This is my first semester in the MACE program, and my last semester in the Catholic Studies program, so this is going to be a very busy semester for me :} I was born in Dayton, OH but was raised in Clearwater/St. Petersburg, FL. I spent my earlier career years in the financial industry as a Quality Analyst for Capital One, Franklin Templeton, and USAA. For the last 17 years, I've lived here in San Antonio, TX and I have five children (21, 16, 15, and 11~twins). I've been a homeschooling momma since 2009, proudly supporting Seton Home Study School, and I am a catechist for the Catechisis of the Good Shepherd program for Level-1 and Level-2. This will be my fourth year leading Good Shepherd, but my seventh year in the program; I've also assisted in RCIA instruction.  Finally, I am a convert to the Catholic Church (from no faith at all), celebrating 23 years this past Easter!
