Currently, I am a graduate student at Holy Apostles College & Seminary, working towards a master’s degree in Theology. I have gained hands-on experience through substitute teaching and leading high school and adult faith formation classes, including my parish's OCIA program. My roles as a parish secretary, youth minister, and executive assistant in both a Catholic School and a Diocesan office have given me a profound understanding of theological principles and pastoral care. As a practicing Catholic, my faith inspires every aspect of my life. This combination of academic background and practical experience makes me well-suited for the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
At St. Francis Catholic High School, I organized Masses and an RCIA program. As the Director of Youth Ministries at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Longview, TX, I led spiritual retreats, Masses, and community service projects. These experiences have honed my skills in program development, student leadership, and pastoral care. Additionally, I have developed a strong understanding of financial stewardship through overseeing ministry budgets and fundraising initiatives.
I believe in the transformative power of a relationship with Christ through His Church and the Sacraments and am eager to contribute to the spiritual well-being of students. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students can explore their faith, develop leadership skills, and engage in meaningful community activities.
