My name is Jessica Madden and I'm a copywriter based in SE Michigan. I'm a lifelong Catholic and passionate about prospering Catholic ventures.
Currently, I'm the copywriter for Dallas-based coworking company, Common Desk. As Common Desk's first ever copywriter, I've built out the daily rhythms and processes for the role, as well as defined success and begun initiatives to help create a more robust and effective marketing departments.

I also have experience in remote customer service, where I spent a year managing the Common Desk company phone lines. From incoming leads to pre-existing members, I informed and sold memberships, troubleshot member issues, and booked conference room reservations daily.

I'm a current student at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and am scheduled to complete a Certificate in Catholic Theology in Q4. I'm an active member of my parish's Young Adult Ministry and have newly embarked on joining my parish's OCIA team.

As Common Desk's first and only copywriter, I built the role's expectations and areas of focus. By identifying, developing, and executing marketing opportunities, I contribute to the company's greater goals of lead conversion and customer retention.
- Brainstorm, create, and edit all written materials for Common Desk's various communication and social media channels, such as blogs, website copy/descriptions, email marketing and community newsletters, press releases, ads, and more.
- Collaborate with Creative Marketing Sr. Lead to create engaging, visually excellent graphics for social media, emails, landing pages, digital ads, and more.
- Create brand representative copy for Common Desk’s aggregators, listing platforms, event bios, and more.
- Moderate social media platforms such as Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, and Linktree and engage with followers as necessary.
-Prioritize SEO-rich copy to promote organic and paid advertisement reach to potential leads.
- Work collaboratively with other key departments at Common Desk like Customer Experience, CRM Management, and Community Teams.
