Professional Qualifications
Kindergarten experience or 1st G rade teaching experience required.
Experience with Singapore Math and/or proficiency in Spanish are a plus.
Kindergarten Instruction
Create and implement lesson plans.
Develop and d eliver engaging lesson plans in subjects aligned to the curriculum.
Adapt teaching methods and educational materials to meet the diverse learning needs, strengths, and weaknesses of each student.
Delegate tasks to the teacher aide as appropriate .
Classroom Management
Foster a positive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and effectively communicate to parents their areas for improvement.
Speak with a w arm but firm tone when managing behavior.
