Primary Care Physician

Location: Corvallis, OR

Description:

We are offering a mission driven and entrepreneurial physician opportunity within an established nonprofit medical ministry serving Portland and Corvallis. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with shared clinic expenses, where physician income is driven by clinical days worked per week, patients scheduled per day, payer mix, and completed insurance credentialing.

The clinic currently has a waiting list of established and new patients, so patient demand already exists. For family medicine or internal medicine physicians, revenue growth is primarily paced by insurance credentialing timelines rather than patient volume. Credentialing with commercial insurers and Medicaid typically requires several months after contract execution, and earnings increase steadily as each payer becomes active. Once credentialed, a physician practicing two to four clinical days per week with a sustainable daily patient load will build revenue predictably over the first six to twelve months.

Annual net earnings commonly fall within the $150,000 to $300,000 plus range after shared expenses, depending on clinical schedule, payer mix, and service scope. This opportunity fits physicians who value Catholic medical ethics, professional autonomy, and long term practice development within a collaborative clinic structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, respectful and comprehensive primary care services to patients.
  • Opportunity to participate in outreach services to support the homeless individual through our clinic.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Contribute to the clinics’ mission by embracing a faith-based approach to healthcare by following the Ethical and Religious Directives of the Catholic Church in Healthcare (ERDs).

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with a valid license from Oregon with a specialty in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics,OB/Gyn. We would love to speak to interested people from other specialties as well.
  • A commitment to the mission of our clinic and a desire to practice medicine in alignment with faith-based principles of the ERDs.
