Dr. GLENN W. LOY

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with you, Mckenzie. I’m so grateful to you for all your stellar work on the hundreds of End Notes for my next book.  Thankfully, I finally found you after testing out some 30 inept people. You were quite dedicated, focused, and persistent. As an added bonus, you even helped me learn Chicago Manual of Style End Notes formatting. I look forward to working with you again sometime on another project. If you’re a potential employer, don’t waste any time! Hire Mckenzie!"

"I have worked with Mckenzie several times now. There is so much I love about her. Firstly, she is always available to edit my work, and at such short notice. Secondly, not only does she leave line edits, but also posts a separate feedback sheet that breaks down edits, comments, and general feedback. Lastly, and most importantly, Mckenzie truly understands the picture book industry in a way not many people I have worked with do. She knows how to make my story stand out in a very competitive market, and what agents and publishers are truly looking for. Her angle is unique to me—she really helps me cut the fluff. One more thing is she is totally fine with me sending her a revised spread or two after the fact, to make sure I understand what she is suggesting."

SUZANNE ELSON

Children's picture book author and ESL teacher

"I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Mckenzie for the outstanding work she did on editing my papers. I can honestly say that my writing has improved significantly as a result of her expertise and guidance. From the moment I reached out to Mckenzie, she was incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with. She took the time to understand what I was trying to achieve with my writing and provided invaluable feedback on how to achieve those goals. Her attention to detail and ability to catch even the smallest errors and inconsistencies was truly impressive, and I am confident that my papers are much stronger as a result of her work. But more than just her technical editing skills, what really stood out to me was Mckenzie's willingness to work collaboratively with me throughout the editing process. She was always available to answer any questions I had, and her constructive feedback and suggestions helped me to see my writing in a whole new light. Her encouragement and support gave me the confidence to push myself and take my writing to the next level. I cannot thank Mckenzie enough for her exceptional work, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an editor who truly cares about their clients and the quality of their work. Thank you, Mckenzie, for everything you've done for me."
