HILLARY KIPNGENO BETT
Mechanical Design Engineer
Hillary Kipngeno Bett is a mechanically minded and results-driven engineering professional based in Nairobi, Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Moi University (2024), where he graduated with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). Hillary is set to begin his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering this fall, enriching his strong foundation with advanced knowledge. Hillary has hands-on experience in high-paced industrial manufacturing, having contributed at British American Tobacco Kenya both as a Technical Trainee Operator (July 2025–Present) and as a Manufacturing Apprentice (October 2024–June 2025). He specializes in process optimization, waste reduction, and the application of statistical process control. Notably, he achieved a 48% reduction in cigarette tipping paper waste by optimizing changeover thresholds and played a key role in loss elimination initiatives that improved overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reduced machine rate loss. His problem-solving abilities are reinforced by frequent use of methodologies such as IPS, Why-Why, and 6W2H analysis. Earlier attachments at Sohan Singh Josh & Sons and the Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute gave him practical exposure to preventive maintenance, machine setup, and fabrication of energy-efficient stoves and agro-processing equipment. He is skilled in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), finite element analysis, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping, with proficiency in MATLAB and key Microsoft Office applications. His final year project—a semi-trailing arm suspension system designed in SolidWorks and analyzed with ANSYS—demonstrated his engineering acumen, proposing an innovative alternative to traditional leaf springs for Kenyan three-wheelers, promising smoother rides and enhanced dynamic performance. Known for his teamwork, commitment to continuous improvement, and communication with cross-functional teams, Hillary is eager to further his expertise and contribute creatively to mechanical engineering challenges.
Tony Ramirez
Sacred Art & Design Coordinator Dawsonville, GA, USA
I am a man with a deep love for the Catholic faith and a genuine desire to serve the Church and her people. My journey has taken me both in and out of seminary, allowing me to gain a rich variety of skills and experiences along the way. I’ve had the privilege of working in pastoral ministry, communications, and consulting — notably with King Richard’s Liturgical Design and other sacred art and design firms, where I contributed to meaningful projects that helped foster beauty and reverence in our churches. Through my years in seminary formation and working in various diocesan offices, I’ve developed a strong background in pastoral care, event coordination, public speaking, and administration. I’m now looking to offer these strengths and experiences to a mission-driven organization that values faith, integrity, and service. Whether through creative work, ministry support, or communications, my goal is to help build up the Church and glorify God through meaningful, faithful work.

Winifred Cagle
Outreach/Donor Marketing Coordinator
Hello! My name is Winnie and I am currently looking for a long-term role that I can grow and meaningfully contribute in. I am passionately Catholic, and I desire to be a part of an organization that shares those values and the mission of the Church through evangelization. If you feel like I would be a good fit, please don't hesitate to reach out, and I am happy to share references, work samples, and answer any questions.  A little about me/my experience:  I am a recent GCU (Grand Canyon University) Grad with a BA in Government w/ an Emphasis in Legal Studies and a minor in Philosophy. While at GCU I was treasurer of the Catholic Club '22-'23, part of the prolife club, an active participant at my Newman Center, and part Global Outreach, an on-campus refugee ministry.  While searching for my next role I am  serving as a volunteer with the International Rescue Committee, a humanitarian aid nonprofit; coordinating incoming volunteers and training caseworkers on the use of our anti-trafficking hotline and community resources.  I was formerly an intern at the IRC and my duties consisted of direct communication with refugees regarding access to healthcare, employment, education, and documentation services and assisted caseworkers with daily tasks/interactions. I utilized translation services and culturally sensitive and trauma-informed communication, ensuring each client I contacted was heard and respected. I also assisted tracking grant data, creating social media posts and copy, as well as flyers and other media to raise awareness about trafficking. I assisted in donor outreach and coordination for support in our trafficking program.  Additionally, I have experience as a Junior Counselor at Grand Canyon Education, Inc., where I assisted potential students in the application process, built relationships with incoming freshmen, and advised them on degree options.  I have an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance, Victim Assistance Training through the OVC, and Standard CPR/AED & First Aid. I also served as a Totus Tuus Missionary for the Diocese of Pueblo, and this was one of the most transformative experiences of my life.  Here are three fun facts about me/things I care about:  I enjoy research and academic writing. This was one of my favorite parts of being a student and something I plan to delve deeper into in my professional life. I am passionate about the nonprofit sector and the importance of utilizing trauma-informed communication and communicating to others in culturally sensitive ways. I am a self-starter and push myself. As a former business owner, I grew my business from the ground up and to a yearly revenue stream of 30k as a high school student. Here are a list of my skills: Donor Outreach, Marketing, Customer Service, Oral & Written Communication, Social Media Copy and Content Creation, Awareness, Non-Profit, Qualitative and Quantitative Research, Mission work,  Advocacy, Pro-Life, CRM's, Enrollment and Application, Government affairs, Attention to Detail, Canva, Instagram Reels, Email copy, Catholic Theology

As an Economist at the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), I am committed to aiding policy makers, industry leaders, and researchers by compiling trustworthy, expedient, and relevant economic statistics, and by ceaselessly searching for opportunities to improve data. As an economist by both trade and spirit, I am passionate about fostering long-term economic growth and improving the standard of living. Consequently, I have spent the last 10 years developing expertise on both sides of the research aisle. My strengths include: - Data Processing & Analytics: I have 4+ years of applied work experience meticulously examining and generating reliable national statistics while actively identifying, proposing, and executing methodological improvements. - Programming: I am proficient in Python, STATA, FAME, SAS, SQL, and R. I am eager to continue expanding my language skills and utilize every tool at my disposal to enhance efficiency, ensure replicability, and maintain data integrity. - Project Management: I have led numerous projects during my career, honing my skills on interviewing, training, managing workforce allocation, composing performance evaluations, and presenting deliverables to stakeholders. - Research: I have 7+ years of experience successfully undertaking qualitative and quantitative research in professional and academic settings. My academic history has well prepared me to meaningfully collaborate with those who share this vision. I earned a MS in Economics from Tufts University (2020), where I researched how cultural barriers inhibited technological adoption, and consequently, economic development for the Soviet Bloc during and following the Cold War. This enabled me to explore the intriguing intersection of culture, technology, and economic growth, further fueling my dedication to this field. In 2018, I graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in Economics, complemented by a History Minor. During my time there, I investigated the impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Economic Growth, which refined my programming and analytical abilities. The foundation for my collegiate career was solidly established during my studies at the College of Southern Nevada, where I earned an AA in Economics (2016).
