Principal

Our school, a Catholic Kindergarten through 8th grade school in Milwaukie, OR, is looking for a mission passionate Catholic School Leader to be its next Principal beginning July 1, 2026.

As a ministry of Christ the King Catholic Church, we exist to bring each other into the transformative encounter with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Under the leadership of the pastor, we build His Kingdom through divine worship, prayer, evangelization, Catholic Education, and the works of mercy. Our school forms disciples in Christ who are grounded in faith, forged in wisdom and prepared to transform the future. 

We are an Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (ICLE) Premier Member School (catholicliberaleducation.org). We are bringing the Catholic intellectual tradition to life at our school through a full embrace of the Church’s tradition of liberal education. Our school has gained national recognition for its work in reclaiming the Church’s timeless educational tradition.

With the strong support of parishioners, we are actively seeking to expand the mission of our school to provide Catholic liberal education through 12th grade. The next principal will help lead this growth.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Catholic Liberal Education and desires to ensure that everything our school does aims to embody Mission Passionate Catholic Education as ministry of our parish and as the means to aid parents in their mission as primary educators of their children.

Lastly, the ideal candidate must be able to meet the minimum qualifications for this position and must be able to commit to the job expectations as articulated by the Archdiocese of Portland Office for the Mission of Catholic Education.
